Two severe earthquakes have killed thousands of people so far in Southern Turkey and fractured parts of Northern Syria.

Journalist Piotr Zalewski told Ben Fordham, a mammoth search operation is underway in the rubble, with fears the death toll could reach 10 thousand.

“People are going through the rubble to try and locate survivors.

“The scale of this is quite difficult to come to terms with.”

Midway through the interview with Ben, rescue workers called for silence so they could hear people under the rubble.
