Parents that lost their daughter 10 years ago are still pushing for road safety through their non-profit organisation.

10 years ago, Diane McMurtrie lost her daughter Hannah in a car crash with another P-plater.

‘Hannah’s Blue Butterflies Road Safety Awareness’ is a non-profit organisation raising awareness so other families don’t go through the devastating path they did.

Diane joined Deborah Knight to discuss the organisation that she has dedicated her life to – so other young drivers can be safe on the road.

She says that despite her efforts to raise awareness on road safety, the message is still not fully across.

“Everyone keeps asking me if the message is getting across and the answer is no,” Diane said.
