Penrith Panthers defeat Paramatta Eels 28-12 in NRL Grand Final
The Penrith Panthers have won back-to-back NRL Premierships, thumping the Parramatta Eels 28-12 in the grand final.
Stephen Crichton opened the scoring after a brutal opening ten minutes, before Brian To’o, Scott Sorensen and Charlie Staines also added four points.
Clint Gutherson and Jakob Arthur scored late consolation tries for the Eels – but they couldn’t deny the Panthers their fourth Premiership.
The team and support staff arrived back at the leagues club in the early hours of the morning.
Panthers fans are invited to join players at a fan day at Penrith Stadium today.

Panthers great and Continuous Call Team commentator Darryl Brohman told Ben Fordham the team and Nathan Cleary could run the NRL for the foreseeable future.
“[Nathan Cleary] he runs the whole show … he’s probably the third best player I’ve ever seen.”
