Peta Credlin says election will be ‘a very unusual contest’

Article image for Peta Credlin says election will be ‘a very unusual contest’

Peta Credlin has revealed who she believes will win the election although admitting it will be a tight race.

Polling booths will open from 8am to 6pm (AEST) this Saturday, May 18 as Australia votes in its next Prime Minister.

The latest Ipsos poll shows Labor is ahead 51 to 49, on a two-party preferred basis.

Ms Credlin tells Chris Smith no one really knows where the votes will go.

“I think it will be a seat by seat race on the night.

“Bill Shorten… was looking at a landslide at the start of the year. It’s not a landslide, it won’t be a landslide, it doesn’t feel like a landslide.

“It will be a very unusual contest.”
