Peter Dutton tears into Adam Bandt’s obsession with ‘craving public limelight’
Opposition leader Peter Dutton says Greens leader Adam Bandt’s recent flag stunt was driven by little more than “craving public limelight”.
Earlier in the week, Greens leader Adam Bandt refused to stand in front of the Australian flag at press conferences.
Following his flag stunt, the Liberal leader told Ray Hadley that Mr Bandt’s actions are “more about himself than the cause he’s trying to promote”.
“I think it’s more about self-attention, he’s craving the public limelight,” he said.
“He craves the publicity and why give it to him?”
