Peter Dutton’s message on extremist ideologies following Queensland shooting
There is a call for Australians to report the behaviour of people who might have extremist ideologies following a deadly Queensland shooting.
Intelligence agencies are investigating what the shootout, which killed two police officers and a neighbour, means for national security.
Detectives are examining links the perpetrators might have had to online conspiracy theories.
Opposition leader and former police officer Peter Dutton told John Stanley people should report suspicious signals.
“People who have changed their behaviour erratically…It is worth contacting the authorities.”
