Parramatta legend Peter Sterling joined The Continuous Call Team after the club celebrated their 75th year in existence earlier this week.

The champion halfback played 228 games for his beloved Eels and was instrumental in their three consecutive premierships from 1981-83 and their most recent in 86. 

Sterling says it was a really nice occasion for the club to recognise. 

“It is an important and significant milestone for the club,” Sterling said.

“Especially after so much effort way back in the 40s to get the side into the competition.”

The Eels will celebrate the milestone with their fans at the Easter Monday clash against the Wests Tigers.
