Peter V’landys defends controversial decision to fly NRL families into QLD
ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys has defended a decision that saw NRL families enter Queensland.
There was outrage when NRL families were allowed to fly into Queensland from NSW after the state announced a halt on interstate arrivals into hotel quarantine.
Mr V’landys told Ben Fordham they have experienced backlash over the decision.
“We negotiated with the state government over a number of weeks, it just happened to occur when they reduced the cap.
“We haven’t taken anyone’s place.”
