Peter V’landys warns of ‘another fight’ if Premier fails to deliver on suburban stadiums
Peter V’landys is warning the state government to deliver on its suburban stadium promise.
The ARL Commission Chairman threatened to take the NRL Grand Final to another state if the NSW government doesn’t honour a pledge to spend $800 million on suburban grounds.
He told Ben Fordham the negotiations were “pretty tough”.
Mr V’landys says they expect action in the next budget and if not, “I’ll have to get back on that fruit box because we’ll have another fight”.
“We want it done now.”
