Community pharmacists have disrupted Question Time with deliberate coughing to protest new 60-day dispensing rules.

Following the recent change allowing patients to get sixty days’ worth of medicine in a single visit to the doctor has community pharmacists up in arms.

Pharmacists, clad in their white coats, took to the chamber to voice their dissent in an unconventional way. Whenever Health Minister Mark Butler rose to defend the new rules, they deliberately coughed to disrupt the proceedings.
