Australian-Israeli Lisa Segalov reflects on the October 7 Hamas attack

Mike Jeffreys

On the anniversary of the Hamas attacking on Israel, Mike is joined by Lisa Segalov, an Australian-born lawyer and Israeli citizen.

Living about 30 minutes north of Tel Aviv, Lisa is the mother of two sons and a daughter, all currently serving in the Israeli military.  She also tragically lost friends in the horrific October 7 terror attack by Hamas.

On that day, Israel observed a solemn anniversary of the attack, which claimed the lives of over 1,200 people and resulted in the abduction of around 250 hostages.

Today, approximately 100 hostages remain in captivity, with many feared dead. Hamas is recognized as a terrorist organization by both the United States and the European Union.
