Benefits of finding a hobby during tough challenges

Mike Jeffreys

Mike is joined by Elizabeth Jane, respected artist and best-selling author of Free and First – Unlocking Your Ultimate Life, about the often-overlooked benefits of hobbies and their role in helping to reduce stress and achieve a balanced and fulfilling life – in the face of financial or emotional challenges.

According to Ms Jane, integrating hobbies into daily routines can significantly boost mental health, creativity and personal growth – as well as reduce stress.

She explains that hobbies are excellent for overall health and well-being, particularly in helping people manage stress, especially during times of financial pressure.

They provide a way to unwind and de-stress, and are also a great way for couples to spend quality time together.

During her own challenging divorce, Elizabeth turned to hobbies, which played a key role in helping her cope and move forward.

“Hobbies are not just pastimes; they are essential for enriching our lives and enhancing our overall well-being,” says Ms Jane.
