Border communities urged to be patient
The border between Victoria and New South Wales will be shut from 11:59 PM Tuesday.
The decision is hoped to stop the spread of Melbourne’s coronavirus outbreak, where 127 new cases have been reported in the past day.
There’s 645 active cases across the state.

Even Victorian houseboat owners will be required to have a permit to use their vessel on the Murray River.
Permits will be available through Services New South Wales, however applications won’t be able to be taken until Tuesday, and could take up to 72 hours to process.
