Brisbane mud army – a lesson in bureaucracy

Luke Grant

Luke Grant speaks with Damian Coory, former 4BC journalist and now Liberal Democrats candidate for the Brisbane seat of Ryan, about his experience in the mud army, that wonderful community driven gang of Queenslanders who come together to tidy things up after a flood.

This began back about 10 years ago and it was just a great thing to see – fellow Aussies pitching in to help but Damian went to do his bit a week back and suggests the bureaucracy has made it all too complicated.
