Broken Hill power woes take center stage at NSW community cabinet meeting

The New South Wales Government is set to hold a Community Cabinet meeting in Broken Hill this Thursday evening.

Although the event was scheduled well before the recent power issues in the town, these outages are now expected to take center stage during discussions with the Premier and Ministers.

In response to the power disruptions, the Government has announced relief payments of $200 for individuals and $400 for small to medium businesses affected.

Nationals leader Dugald Saunders joins Clinton to discuss the upcoming meeting, welcoming the government’s attention to the community but expressing concern that the proposed payments fall short of what residents and businesses truly need
