Calls for Prime Minister to apologise for live trade ban joke

Rural News

The Nationals are calling on the Prime Minister to explain and apologise for a joke he made at a gala celebrating rural women’s achievements.

Anthony Albanese has refused to apologise for a joke he made about banning the live sheep trade.

He has clarified the joke to the Western Australia Premier, Roger Cook.

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with Nationals Leader David Littleproud, who says communities most affected by the ban are the ones who deserve the clarification.
