Clive Palmer buys Adolf Hitler’s Mercedes-Benz from a Russian Billionaire
As reported by the Courier Mail Senate hopeful Clive Palmer has purchased Adolf Hitler’s bulletproof 1939 Mercedes-Benz 770 Grosser Offener Tourenwagen.
The United Australia Party founder currently recovering from COVID symptoms reportedly finalised the deal after negotiations with a Russian Billionaire. Never free of controversary the mining millionaire bought the historic vehicle for an undisclosed sum although it last went to auction in 2018 with a high bid cast at $9.7 million dollars.
The eight-litre eight cylinder was used by Hitler for a Paris victory parade following the fall of France, also used to transport Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini through the streets of Berlin on an official state visit. It was seized by the U.S. army at the end of World War 11.
