Closed borders could see domestic tourism surge

International travel could be off the cards until next year, but the growing unrest could see an unprecedented surge in domestic tourism. Australian holiday destinations should be prepared for an influx of travellers who would otherwise travel overseas, but with the tourism economy on-hold, there may be struggles to keep up with the demand.
