Dave Faulkner

Formed in 1981, the Hoodoo Gurus are among Australian music’s finest acts. They were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 and the band’s induction announcement stated that the Gurus were one of the most “inventive, lyrically smart and exciting” bands from Australia. It’s hard to argue with.

The man responsible for such Aussie classics as “My Girl”, “Bittersweet”, “Like Wow – Wipeout”, “What’s My Scene”, “Miss Freelove” and “Come Anytime” is singer, songwriter and guitarist Dave Faulkner, and he joined Stevie Jacobs and Julian King on Saturday Night Live
