Fitzgibbon confident in the NSW Blues new halves combo
NSW Blues Assistant Coach Craig Fitzgibbon is quietly confident that the Blues will win Game III this Wednesday night.
There’ll be a new halves combination for NSW with both Nathan Cleary and Jarome Luai out of Game III, but Fitzgibbon says the new look pairing is looking strong.
It’s been a smooth transition according to the defensive coach.
Because Jack Wighton has already been in the squad for the previous two games, Fitzgibbon says it’s been “straightforward” for the new combination in camp.
He also says Mitchell Moses is “looking confident on the paddock training”.
If New South Wales manage to beat Queensland on Wednesday night, the Blues will claim their first series clean sweep since 2000.
NSW Blues Assistant Coach Craig Fitzgibbon spoke with The Continuous Call Team ahead of Game 3 in Newcastle.
