Flies giving berry growers more pollination options

Berry growers, in varroa mite affected areas on the New South Wales mid-north coast, are being given more pollination options.

Hort Innovation is preparing to release pollinator flies in the Coffs Harbour region in an effort to fortify close to 1500 hectares of crops.

Rural editor Sophie Clarke caught up with lead researcher doctor Romina Rader to hear more about how they’re working to increase pollination security.
