Former Transport Minister Andrew Constance on Sydney’s metro makeover

Clinton speaks with Andrew Constance, about the launch of Sydney’s new metro extension which was instigated during his time as Minister for Transport and Roads in the second Berejiklian ministry .

The 15.5-kilometre addition includes six new underground stations and new metro platforms at Central and Sydenham, providing commuters with faster, more reliable services.

This extension is part of the M1 Northwest & Bankstown Line, which now spans 51.5 kilometres across Sydney, with the final 13 kilometres set to open after the conversion of 10 stations on the T3 Bankstown Line.
