Health Matters: Prof. Saxon Smith

Summer is coming! And while we love a healthy dose of Vitamin D, we all need to remember the importance of being sun safe while enjoying the warmer weather. According to the Cancer Council, Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, making it the most common cancer diagnosed in Australia. Around two in three Australians will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer before the age of 70. Coming up next week is National Skin Cancer Action Week which encourages all Australians to use the five forms of sun protection, slip, slop, slap, seek and slide to help protect against skin cancer.

With John Stanley to discuss some of the common questions around skin cancer is San Dermatologist Skin specialist Clinical Professor Saxon Smith.
