Honda releases a new mid sized SUV, the Z-RV
Honda has just introduced a new mid-sized SUV sitting between its HR-V and CR-V models. The ZR-V priced from $40,200 comes in four five-seat variants – three petrol and one hybrid which tops out the range at $54,900 drive-away. The petrol Honda ZR-V’s feature a 1.5-litre 131kW turbocharged four-cylinder engine driving through a CVT automatic while the hybrid models utilise a 2.0-litre non-turbo petrol engine with two electric motors. Entry model features include 17inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, a 9-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cloth trim, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors and dual zone air-conditioning. The high-grade models in particular are well equipped while visually the new Honda ZR-V has a rather distinctive individual style with open mouth grille and I look forward to driving it.
