Kia reveals all new EV3 SUV with up to 600km driving range due here next year

Kia this week previewed its new small EV3 SUV in Korea which will arrive here in 2025. The small battery electric SUV, around the size of its small petrol Seltos, mimics the style of the Kia’s large World Car of the Year EV9. A long-range variant with a large 81.4 kWh battery will offer a driving range of up to 600km, the longest of any Kia SUV to date. While a smaller more affordable Standard model with a 58.3kWh battery will also be offered. Kia claiming the EV3 can be recharged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 31 minutes on a fast DC charger. Both Standard and Long-Range variants feature a 150kW/283Nm electric motor driving the front wheels, Kia also confirming dual motor all-wheel-drive EV3 variants will follow including a GT high-performance version. Pricing expected in the $50 to $75,000 dollar range.
