New Zealand manuka honey producers are launching a war with Australia.

The UMF Honey Association in New Zealand has moved to ensure honey labelled as manuka and sold globally could only come from New Zealand.

But the Australian Honey Bee Association is fighting back, this week creating the Australian Manuka Honey Association.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with chairman Lindsay Bourke to find out more about the feud.
