Master Builders disappointed in lack of productivity focus in the budget

The building and construction sector has experienced declining productivity, and reducing unnecessary regulation is necessary for improvement.
Additionally, the industry requires half a million new workers by 2026, and more support is needed to attract, train, and retain workers.
While the budget includes some measures to support small and medium-sized businesses, more action is needed to increase housing supply and prevent prolonged periods of pain and depressed construction activity.
