In what many consider a brilliant move, Senator Jacinta Nampajimpa Price was appointed Shadow Indigenous Australians Minister yesterday.

Luke speaks with David Littleproud MP, federal Leader of the Nationals, for his take on that appointment and whether he thinks city elites might just dominate the referendum later in the year without having as he calls it, “the lived experience”.

Mr Littleproud implores Australians to listen to the voices of their rural and regional counterparts when it comes to the best way forward to close the Indigenous gap.  The Nationals represent roughly one in three Australians living outside of the major cities.
