New body to support Australia’s seaweed industry
A new alliance has been formed, to fan the flames beneath an emerging aquaculture industry.
The Australian Sustainable Seaweed Alliance is made up of 10 stakeholders, including the Seaweed Institute and the University of Tasmania.
Experts say the sector could add $1.5 billion to the economy.
