New small SUV from Haval – the Jolion
Another new entry into the burgeoning small SUV market, up this year by 53.5 percent– the Haval Jolion has arrived, now with a full-blown range replacing the Chinese companies first small SUV offering the H2. The much-improved Jolion hits the market in a three tier range from $25,490 drive-away for the entry level model – for some reason named Premium but obviously designed to draw attention to its extensive equipment list – with a full suite of active driver safety systems that even includes a camera-based driver fatigue monitoring system.
The mid spec Lux and high grade Ultra add an even further array of higher-level equipment. With an upgraded 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and new generation 7-speed automatic the Haval Jolion obviously hopes to mimic the success of MG’s ZS model, sales of which have grown nearly 400 per cent this year. Haval warranty 7-years unlimited with five years roadside assist and capped price servicing.
