Paul Gallen and Boyd Cordner played alongside each other on the Origin and International stage, and it was during these matches Gallen says he saw a future leader.

“I remember thinking, he’s a future leader without a doubt,” says Gallen.

With Boyd Cordner calling an end to his stellar career age 29, Gallen says he was a player who put his body on the line every game.

“He did everything he could every single week for his teammates to win a game.”
