Polestar releases pricing for it’s first electric SUV
Electric brand Polestar has announced pricing details of its first electric SUV due
early next year confirming it will be a competitor in the luxury segment with a
starting price of $132,900. The somewhat striking Polestar 3 will arrive initially as
a single variant, the long-range dual motor all-wheel-drive, producing 360kW of
power and 840Nm of torque and utilising a 107kWhour lithium-ion battery. An
optional performance pack further boosts power and torque by up to 8 percent.
Polestar makes the claim that the new SUV will have an estimated 610Km range
from a single charge. The local company confirming it has received almost 7000
expressions of interest for the Chinese built Polestar 3. It will launch here with a
five year/unlimited kilometre warranty and with a five-year free servicing offer.
The battery pack with an eight-years/160,000km warranty.
