Popular Volkswagen T-Roc SUV gains a new entry model
Volkswagen’s compact T-Roc SUV, currently the German brands big seller, is set
to gain a new more affordable front wheel drive entry model that is sure to boost
its appeal. The special edition VW T-Roc CityLife at $35,990 is $1,110 more
affordable to the T-Roc Style model – featuring the same 1.4-litre turbo-petrol
four-cylinder engine however and driving the front wheels via an eight-speed
automatic it sits on smaller 17-inch alloy wheels but with taller-profile tyres that
VW says makes it more comfortable over pothole scarred city streets. A unique
black grille and reflector LED headlights set it apart from its stablemates. The T-
Roc’s compact package size, visual appeal and excellent equipment list has hit a
sweet spot with buyers. Orders are now being taken for the special CityLife
edition which the company advises arrives in significant numbers in September.
