Queensland: Miles hits 36 electorates in 36 hours as Crisafulli makes final push

Clinton Maynard

Clinton speaks with Tim Arvier, Nine News State Political reporter, about the Queensland election, where Premier Steven Miles has set an ambitious goal to visit 36 electorates in 36 hours ahead of Saturday’s vote.

Over 1.2 million people have already cast their ballots at pre-poll locations, including 150,000 just yesterday.

With under 48 hours until the polls open, Miles and his team have focused on the state’s south-east after beginning the week in regional Queensland and moving through the Sunshine Coast. Meanwhile, the Liberal National Party unveiled its costings yesterday and made its final campaign announcement.

David Crisafulli, determined to give it his all before Saturday, is targeting around a dozen seats in the south-east in a final campaign push.
