Ridiculous loophole sees security guards going interstate to work in NSW
There is currently a loophole in place which allows prospective security guards to attain licences in states with less rigorous training requirements, potentially compromising community safety.
The practice is perfectly legal, but there are concerns some guards working in NSW don’t have an acceptable level of training or English language ability.
