Robert Irwin threatens legal action over Pauline Hanson cartoon

Mike Jeffreys

Mike speaks with Pauline Hanson, Senator for Queensland and Leader of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, following being faced with legal action after an episode of her cartoon comedy series, “Please Explain,” sparked controversy.

The very funny episode, posted on social media, satirises the Queensland government and includes depictions of Robert Irwin and Bluey the dog critiquing state issues like youth crime and healthcare wait times.

Irwin’s lawyers from FC Lawyers issued a cease and desist letter to Stepmates Studios, alleging defamation and unauthorised use of Irwin’s image.
