Ian Yates, Chief Executive of COTA (Councils on the Ageing) Australia, joins Michael on the eve of the Royal Commission’s report into a “cruel and harmful’ system of care due to be handed to the Morrison Government today.

Having received more than 10,000 public submissions during two years of hearings, the royal commission has enabled older people and families to tell their stories and firsthand accounts which have illustrated many failures in the aged care system.
