The Shoalhaven City Council have been through a lot since the 2019-2020 summer bushfires.

“We have gone through 5 nature disasters in the last 2 years,” says Mayor Amanda Finley.

Despite a positive case visiting the region Mayor Finley says the public has come out in droves to testing facilities.

“The community have been terrific… I think they’re feeling a little bit optimistic but at the same time quite anxious as you can understand,” says the Mayor.

She joined John Stanley and Trent Nikolic to share the resilience of her community.
