Slither of hope for seasonal workers
Farmers say the economic recovery from covid can be fast tracked if they can secure workers for this season’s harvest.
The peak farming body for New South Wales is calling for fully vaccinated Pacific Island workers to be allowed into the country without quarantining.
From November the state will open to fully vaccinated Australians, after a plan to open to tourists was hit on the head by the federal government.
