The big wet has hit Aussie farmers yet again

John Stanley

Tens of thousands of people have been affected across New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. They have seen their homes and businesses underwater and cut off from their communities by swollen rivers.

The emergency is not over yet, and the nation has been warned that our next visit to the supermarket could be more expensive due to crops being wiped out.

NSW Farmers President Xavier Martin explains to John Stanley what effect this weather event will have on fresh produce in the future.
