A smartphone has finally been created for seniors that will make it easier for them to stay in touch with family and friends.

The phone has been designed with a simple interface with only two buttons to make it simple to use with no added bells and whistles, the phone has emergency assistance as well as security protection to avoid falling victim to scams.

Libby Henderson the designer of the Big Purple Phone explains to John Stanly she decided to design the phone for her 85-year-old mother after she had great difficulty being able to video call her during the COVID pandemic.
