Tim James endorsed by former premier for Willoughy by-election

Luke Grant

If you believe the pundits, the Liberal candidate for Gladys Berejilian’s old seat of Willoughby, Tim James, will be a strong addition to the Perrottet government.

Luke Grant speaks with Mr James, who we learned last week was endorsed by the former NSW Premier, joining him on the campaign trail in the lower north shore electorate less than two weeks after her preferred candidate Willoughby mayor Gail Giles-Gidney was defeated in a preselection ballot 58 votes to 52.

Willoughby is among four NSW seats that will head to the polls on February 12, as well as Monaro, the seat of former deputy premier John Barilaro, Bega and Strathfield.
