Traditional owners win court case to stop nuclear waste dump in South Australia

Keith Pitt, Federal Member for Hinkley, expresses his disappointment to Michael McLaren about the outcome of this case believing the plant would have brought employment to the community. This 211-hectare block of land had already been purchased by the Government and was merely a dryland wheat farm, not on native title, so it would have made an ideal site for nuclear waste.
