W.A. hits record number of locally acquired COVID cases

Luke Grant

Caroline Di Russo, Lawyer & commentator on Sky & The Spectator, joins Luke Grant about news yesterday that Western Australia hit a record number of locally acquired Covid-19 cases with 115 local infections and 13 linked to travel.

It brings the state’s total number of active cases to 444 but none are in hospital. Also, a recent opinion poll shows that Premier McGowan has an approval rating of 64%, not to be sneezed at to be sure except for the fact that it was at one point 91%.

At a media conference yesterday Mr McGowan was repeatedly asked about WA’s hard border, after he flagged he would make an announcement about it this month.
