We need to recognise women in engineering
Clinton Maynard speaks with Australian artist and humanitarian engineer Jess Coldrey, who has recently been awarded as one of the Top 50 Women in Engineering in the world.
A Victorian Government John Monash Scholar and vocal advocate for women in STEM, Ms Coldrey has advised the Melbourne Science Gallery, the Victorian Metro Tunnel project, and the women’s health organisation QENDO.
She is also a Laureate of the Australian French Association for Innovation and Research, and an Engineers Without Borders Influence Award recipient, demonstrating her commitment to making global cities more inclusive and sustainable.
Jess discusses with Clinton the need to recognise women in engineering, not just female engineers and how women’s perspectives will benefit and shape the profession into the future.
