Why it pays to sell like a woman
The sales profession has changed. In today’s world, where everybody lives by selling something, people want more respectful, inclusive, and collaborative ways of selling and doing business, with 74 per cent of clients more likely to buy if they feel they’ve been heard.
Bill Woods is joined by Sue Barrett, Change Agent, Educator & Founder of the Selling Better Movement & Sell Like A Woman, who explains it’s time to ditch the hard sell and start selling like a woman.
“More than 20 years of local and international research shows women outperform men in sales, yet most women leave sales off their career list, and most businesses don’t capitalise on the power of women in sales due to persistent biases and outdated sales stereotypes.”
“Gender diversity in sales is not only about equality, but also about better business performance, great reputations, and loyal clients.”
“It also gives women more agency and power over their careers, earning capacity and life choices.”
