NSW Police have issued a statement about an incident that took place at the corner of Macquarie Street and St. James Road which saw two arrests made.

The police statement refers to the arrest of two men arrested for breach of bail and drug-related offences.

Just after 2pm today (Tuesday 10 October 2023), detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad’s Strike Force Cobra arrested two men over alleged breach of bail and drug-related offences during a vehicle stop at the intersection of Macquarie Street and St James Road, Sydney.

The men, aged 23 and 22, were checked at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before the men were taken to Surry Hills Police Station.
