Police have renewed their appeal for public help after two sisters were found dead in a Sydney apartment.

On the morning of June 7, emergency services were called to a home on Canterbury Road, near Dibbs Street, Canterbury, following a concern for welfare report.

The bodies of 24-year-old Asra Abdullah Alsehli and 23-year-old Amaal Abdullah Alsehli were found inside.

Despite extensive inquiries, detectives have been unable to establish how the Saudi Arabian women died but it is believed they had been dead for about a month.

Nine Radio reporter Clinton Maynard told Ray Hadley the women left Saudi Arabia in 2017.

“They have very few connections in this country, no family, they don’t seem to have many friends or associates here.

“It is a very confusing case.”

Police are unable to say what the pair did for a living despite them having an ABN.
