Premiers at peace: Gladys and Keneally filmed in rare show of friendship
Despite many years as fierce rivals, the state’s only ever female premiers have been filmed in a rare moment of unity.
The video shows Gladys Berejiklian in a genuine and touching conversation with former premier, turned federal senator, Kristina Keneally.
Both were at the Goulburn Police Academy for the latest attestation of NSW Police officers, but for very different reasons.
The two politicians even posed together for a photo!

They joined Ben Fordham on-air to discuss their encounter.
The Premier insists, “what you saw was completely natural.”
“At the end of the day we normally deal with each other as members of parliament or politicians, but that day I dealt with her as a proud Premier and she was a proud parent.”
Ms Keneally says she “grew up in politics” with the Premier and is pleased to share the moment.
“I was delighted that the Premier was willing to be apart of the Keneally family photo,” she laughs.
