In two weeks the start of the inaugural season of Harvey Norman Super Rugby Pacific will be available with the launch announced today.

A revamped 2022 competition will boast 12 teams, with all 10 existing Australian and New Zealand teams.

Former Australian Rugby Union Player Tim Horan has told Mark Levy the game will be great “to try and retain island talent”.

Mr Horan believes there will be a few rising stars saying, “it will be good for them to get their talent together”.
